Переглядів 133 тис.4 роки тому
In June 2011, The Daily Show ran a segment in which host Jon Stewart mocked then-Presidential candidate Herman Cain by impersonating his accent. Wyatt Cenac, a writer for the show, voiced his discomfort with the piece and Stewart responded in angry and defensive manner. This upset Cenac a great deal, and he recounted this experience on the podcast "WTF with Marc Maron" in 2015. In June 2020, St...

Clips of Ex-Redskins DeAngelo Hall (Safety) & Santana Moss (Wide Receiver), and also Clinton Portis (Running Back), discussing the time Albert Haynesworth (Defensive Tackle) notoriously faked an injury during a game in Detroit in 2009. This was a particularly humiliating loss for the Redskins, as this was Detroit's first win after their abysmal 2008 0-16 season. To make matters worse, Portis sa...

the master at work.. always the same... stoned to the gills and sober.. same ol joe..
Joe Walsh has perfect pitch. Rare even for many top musicians!
It's a shame Gleason needed up doing these stupid Smokey movies. He was fantastic in quality movies like Requiem for a Heavy Weight and The Hustler
Is he drunk or on drugs
CC is waaaaay off!
THE...authentic...Joe Cool. One of my favorite guitarists for all-time...and good good dude.
No one in SC can stand the POS
Big Al is a scumbag…..he’s from SC and he has been a sleeve bag, even before he played for TN Vols
BTW portis one the best North South ever straight up beast wish we had an offensive line when be played
Worst thing is so many young men would work so hard and do anything for the chance in NFL these milliomaire players jus don't care how sad that even sports comes down to money you watch 80s n 90s teams they eould literally play with broken bones now they tired so 2 weeks off it a disgrace wages need to be appearance and average stat incentives nothing guaranteed unless you play least 50% season kus sayin
That last bit is why I love team sports ,. Moments like these man !
I pretty much know this movie by heart. I wors out the VHS tape back in the days. Good times.
Just saw this at the theater today. Good times. #flashbackcinemas
I like brown yellow and red people... If im gonna criticize people itll be because they are goof idiots not because of their colour
Great to see Roger Giffin here. And Joe in good form. And that refinished Lester - about $200k today! Sheesh.
Joe probably doesn't remember which is just okay
Is that the same officer who appears at the van where buford arrests another police officer, thinking him to be the bandit?
Steve was singing about circle jerks before it was a thing.
Joe seems like the kind of guy who requires his touring guitarists perform a setup to his standards. And they don’t get a guitar tech until they do. He’s a blue collar guy to the core.
"Stood the test of time" in 1982?! Good in 2024 if you ask me. And I wish I was 1/1000th as cool as the black guy on bass.
He doesn't want anyone cursing around Junior and yet, he frequently curses around him.
Wow, He turned THEGREATESTMOVIE;INTHEWORLD into 1 word. I thought i was a Fart Smuker!
Hold up on that car wash boys! Kick in the butt. That was an attention getter.
Great Song powerfull
But what about Boz?
The sheriff made the movies and only him
700,,miyyys..brilliant.
Isn't this the same trooper who said "You just apprehended my captain." In a later scene?
Jackie Gleason was truly The great One
Intro music please?
Orson Welles was correct about Jackie the great one
If Herman didn't sound like that, Wyatt would have a point. I made the same critique of Britethorn's pastiche of Kobe Bryant. My issue waa that Kobe is a northern Atlantic man and his accent wasn't Southern and he didn't drop sounds or syllables. To me, Britethorn, who identifies as progressive, was basically saying that we all sound like that. Set aside the fact that Kobe grew up in posh surroundings. Nobody was "hood". In fact, somebody was Italian... Circling back, Jon was right. Herman sounds like that. This wasn't Tropic Thunder. This wasn't mocking Southern Black people or even Black people. This was mocking Herman Cain. In effect, it was also mocking Cain's attempt's to over-affect his drawl as a means to relate to... I'll call it... "simple folks who don't like to read long writings". Wyatt probably missed that part. BUT, Jon missed the part where that joke wasn't his to tell even if he understood the irony. Wyatt maybe would get a pass... maybe. Josh Johnson would get the pass now because he's from Chi and NOLA. But even he wouldn't reach fkr those fruits. This one bugged me. Maybe I'm too sore.
That said, Jon got too uptight in a situation when he should've just listened. Sure, he may come from Vaudeville. So that's a real context. And he got shelled. But he had to know
It's interesting that after this Wyatt Cenac practically disappeared and now you don't hear much about Hasan Minhaj either. It's definitely not a good business idea to question how the Democrat Party utilizes the race issue, let alone point out that the most heinous racist actions are usually carried out by Democrat politicians.
That explained nothing
I saw Steve miller, Santana, and zztop in one concert 70’s
He is in my top concerts from the70’s
Funny thing is thats GSP he talking to.
My Favorite Song since 1982. 100000%. Song used Listening on American Top 40 countdown back then. Started 1980,1982,1983,
Sorry Julie...this song never made the Top 40. It peaked at #60 back in January 1983... Should've been a Top 40 hit though...🤷🤷🤷
@@Muzikgirl67 thanks.
0:03 I don't care if your name is Broderick Crawford you can't try that piece of s*** on my Highway
Tim, Richard and Debbe are the greatest sitcom trio. Since Debbe came into the show, it was clear that she was gonna be much bigger deal than Pamela Anderson. The audience came to love Heidi's character so much that she became more prominent character and crucial part of Tim Taylor's life. In my opinion, the friendship between Tim, Al and Heidi was the core of the show. Heidi and Al were the only constants in Tim's life, the ones he truly cared about the most. It was always obvious that Tim and Al were both attracted to Heidi which ultimately transformed into a love triangle in season 7 "Futile Attraction".
I loved the "Survey Says"
0:34 Bruce Allen likes a lot of things that we don’t talk about…..
You like that
You are telling him Buford justice
Bandit is trucking 400 cases of coors
I hope the movie is on soon
Now f o amen Buford t justice
I’m hopping
Smokey and the bandit is on this weekend
I didn't realize that was what was being said because I was too young to see it in 1977...I had only seen it on cable 😅
